Bezel
Fixed bezel engraved with a tachymeter scale, a tool designed to measure average speeds over a given distance.
Case
Features include a 40mm diameter, a distinctive profile with integrated lugs, and screw-down pushers flanking the winding crown.
Chronograph
It features three subdials to measure elapsed time in hours, minutes, and seconds, all controlled by screw-down pushers on the side of the case. The central chronograph hand, which remains at twelve o'clock when not in use, is started and stopped with the pushers to time events.
Movement
The Seiko VK63 is a hybrid meca-quartz movement that combines the best of both worlds. It offers the reliable, battery-powered accuracy of a quartz watch while providing the feel of a mechanical.
